ABOUT US
The End Zone Sports Lounge and Covington Hall is a family owned business and was established by Frank and Joyce Heitkamp on April 28, 1992. Frank began his career delivering milk in Dayton for Meadow Gold, a meat cutter for Decker’s Meats and then transitioned in to the grocery business, all the while crafting his skills as a master meat cutter. He learned how to select the freshest cuts of meats and then properly prepare them. He was co-owner of H&S Markets located in Covington and Minster. Frank and Joyce had six children and they all spent time learning from their mom and dad in the grocery and meat business. They became extremely good on how to cut, bread, and make their dad’s favorite pork tenderloin. Frank’s other passion was Ohio Sports. In 1992, Frank melded his two passions and decided to create the End Zone Sports Lounge in Covington. The building was built to be a grocery store and he didn’t require extra space for a restaurant and bar so he converted the front of the building to Covington Hall. Frank recognized an opportunity to host weddings, parties, and other gatherings, which also provided another revenue stream of catering. Frank loved the End Zone, his patrons, and the people of Covington.
The Heitkamp family is excited to continue Frank and Joyce’s legacy.
